The mechanism

Which charms fit which bases?

All of them. Every SUIJI charm and base shares the same quick-release clasp, so any charm locks onto any base — across every set. Mix a charm from one set onto a base from another, freely.

Do I need tools to switch?

No tools. Press, release, align, click — about ten seconds by hand. The clasp is designed for repeated open-close use.

Will the clasp loosen?

The clasp is engineered for repeated movement. If an ornament ever feels loose, press it fully until it clicks. Keep the clasp clean and dry, and do not oil, bend, or force the mechanism.

Materials

Silver or titanium?

Each set is available in silver or Grade 5 titanium, depending on the selected variant. Titanium is selected for lightness, strength, and corrosion resistance; silver remains for its classic jewellery presence and softer warmth.

How do the materials wear?

Titanium does not tarnish like silver, but it can still collect oils, dust, and surface marks. Silver may develop a natural patina over time. Both can be kept bright with gentle care.

Orders

When will my set ship?

All sets are made on pre-order and ship in approximately four weeks. You will receive tracking by email when your order leaves the studio.

Is anything sold individually?

At launch, the one single-item we sell is the SUIJI Extension Chain — a low-key way to add length to jewellery you already own. Charms and bases are sold inside complete sets for now; individual releases open later through SUIJI Studio and editions.
